Titanic Crashes

This time, the blockbuster movie is also gone down. Towards the end of the last decade, James Cameron’s epic Titanic became the most successful movie ever with global takings of $1.843billion during 31 weeks of ticket sales.
A new record is under makings Avatar – also directed by Cameron – which this week stole its crown as the all-time global box office champ, with receipts of $1.859billion in just 39 days of release.
Avatar has been able to build on their success, capitalizing on the higher ticket prices cinema chains have been charging to see it in stereoscope. Two movies doing business around $ 2billion is an astonishing achievement for the 55-year-old Canadian, and one that is unlikely to be repeated in his or our lifetimes.

On the main page you’ll find lots of featured articles and videos to explore – they will suck you in to the main categories like a black hole. Forgive the bad pun! The main categories are: News, Space Flight, Science, Technology, Entertainment, SpaceViews, NightSky, SETI, Video, and Community.

While I was visiting in the main section there was this awesome featured story “Glowing Nebula Reveals Cosmic Cat’s Paw”, not only was it a fascinating article the title conjures up all sorts of images. The funniest I thought of was how it sounded like a super hero story. The super hero being called Cosmic Cat – and now we’ve seen his paw! It was really all about how there are stars being born at a rampant pace within our galaxy in the Cat’s Paw Nebula.

Restoring the Safely Remove Hardware Icon in Windows XP

So, tell me, has your Safely Remove Hardware icon ever disappeared from your system tray? You know, the icon you use to safely disconnect your USB devices. Even though your device is still plugged in, the icon is gone and you're left stranded without a safe way to remove it. So, what do you do? Well, most people go ahead and pull the device out on their own, but that's really not the proper way to do it. Doing that can cause severe damage to your hardware. Luckily, there's an easy way to get your Safely Remove Hardware icon back up and running. Try this!

To restore your Safely Remove Hardware icon, go to your Start menu, right click on it and choose Properties.
The Safely Remove Hardware icon will then reappear in your system tray and you can go back to removing your hardware the right way. Oh yeah!

Facebook Alt Codes

An Alt Code is a number, or series of numbers that when pressed in conjunction with the Alt key produces a cute little symbol like a heart or smiley face.
You can use 'em on Facebook to show some love or just to spruce up your status updates. Alt+1, Alt+2, Alt+3, Alt+4, Alt+5, etc.

Remember, you can only use the number pad to type in the codes, though. The line at the top of your keyboard won't work.
